A big thank you to everyone who played Thursday. It turned into a high quality session and a great run.
There is lots of space this week so come and sign up early. I have noted the increasing numbers of ‘walk ups’. As everyone should know you need to be listed to play or we are back where we were years ago with arguments about numbers.
I will look at options to change the charging structure so walk-ups are charged £1 extra. Its either that or I start sending people home as its simply not fair on those who make the effort and follow the rules.
I am out all this week on holiday and for once won’t be running round to get the numbers :o) You can all mail through teamsnap so I encourage you to do that and to list yourself early.
Have a great week,
Jon
On Sunday, Jon ran the British 10K in London to raise money for the Prince's Trust, it was HOT!
We know there are lots of requests for help so please don't feel you need to give more than a few pounds. Even if everyone just chips in £5 we will do great.
You can give really easily here: http://www.justgiving.com/Slinn
The Prince's Trust work with 14-30 year olds who have been in care, struggled at school (this does not include just being annoying like Jon or locking teachers in cupboards like Krista), been in trouble with the law or who are long-term unemployed. The Trust is strongly focused an entrepreneurial effort, something that is particularly close to Jon's heart. They help people to start small businesses in some of the most deprived and low achieving parts of the county. Think of it this way.... every success turns someone from having to rest on the state to paying taxes and employing others.... a win.. win.. win !
Thank you so much in advance!
Jon

We are still short of people for Thursday as well. Please sign up to that list today if you want to play.

TeamSnap message from Jon Slinn of the team Putney Basketball Club:
Subject: [Putney Basketball Club] News & Need More For Tuesday!
Good evening to you all. I have a few news items and a request for players!
First the news:
* There has been an addition to the Team Snap site so you should see a new tab allowing you to add photos and files. Please give it a try!
* We will have a clear out of names on the lists over the holiday as we have many people who never play or have owed money for some time. If your on the no-show lists please can I ask you to pay up before the xmas break
And that leaves Tuesday... I think we are struggling as its so close to Christmas but we only have 5 and need more people. Please do sign up to play as there are 7 more spaces.
Have a good rest of the weekend, Jon
Hope to see many of you tomorrow.
PS: Remember Tuesday is now only 12 people to try and increase on court time.
Jon
