PBC is a friendly local club. Please get in touch and join us. We are always looking for more people to join. If your are interested in playing please email Jon jon@slinn.org. You will then be added to our lists for invites.
Who can play? The club is open to all. We play mixed games with people of all abilities. Come along and get involved, we are always delighted to meet new people. You will need to be on the mail lists as per above.
For Tuesday night sessions (full court for 1 hour) you must be on the list as spaces are limited to 12
For Thursday night sessions (full court for 1.5 hours) you must be on the list as spaces are limited to 15
When does the club play?
9:30pm till 10:30pm every Tuesday night (limited to 12)
9pm till 10:30pm every Thursday night (limited to 15)
Were does the club play? Putney Basketball plays at Roehampton leisure centre. This is one of the Wandsworth leisure centres and easy reach from Putney by bus (give at least 20 mins from Putney main line station). There are many buses from Putney, Wimbledon and the surrounding area. Please follow this link for directions:

How do I get my name on the list?
As above mail Jon to have your name added to our online system. You can then sign up to play each week. We use www.teamsnap.com to manage the lists.
How much does it cost?
Tuesday £5 per session for adults and £2 per session for under 21
Thursday £6 per session for adults and £3 per session for under 21
What's the No Show rule? We try and keep things as open as possible but we need to have some cut off. You are free to sign up to any of the sessions and assuming there is space you will play. The lists lock automatically 24 hours before each session. If you miss that cut off you will need to contact Jon to get on the list. If you are on the list and you do not show you still owe the session fee. There are NO exceptions and after 3 No Shows we remove you from the lists.
Think of it as WAY better than signing up to that gym you never go to!
How competitive? All sessions are for fun with a wide range of abilities. We balance teams out on the evening so all should feel welcome. We have the good, the bad and the ugly :) Matches are often a little more competitive but only because we all want PBC to win!
What should I wear? We have a team kit for matches as and when they are arranged. Where there is no match teams are arranged on the evening.
